Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Clinicians may practice using any method permitted by their licensing authority, provided they remain in full compliance with all applicable licensing, professional, and regulatory requirements for the state in which they provide services.
Vievar does not provide direct clinical supervision services. However, we maintain relationships with a network of experienced and qualified clinical supervisors who may be available to support clinicians working toward independent licensure.
Clinicians are responsible for selecting and establishing their own supervision relationship and ensuring that all supervision arrangements meet the requirements of their applicable licensing authority.
Unlike many large behavioral health platforms, Vievar does not credential clinicians under a organiztion-owned insurance arrangement.
At Vievar, our Employee and Independent Clinicians are individually credentialed with the insurance networks in which we participate. Those credentials belong to you, not Vievar. If you choose to leave Vievar in the future, your individual insurance credentials remain yours, allowing you to maintain the network relationships you have built throughout your career.
Vievar maintains established minimum and maximum self-pay rates for Staff Clinicians to support consistent and accessible pricing across our practices.
Independent Clinicians have the flexibility to establish their own self-pay rates, giving them greater control over their practice and allowing them to set fees that reflect their services, experience, and client population.
Independent Clinicians have no minimum client, caseload, or hour requirements. They have the flexibility to set their own schedules and determine the number of clients they choose to serve.
Staff Clinician positions are available in both hourly and salaried models, providing options for different career and scheduling needs. Minimum caseload, scheduling, and productivity expectations vary by position, and specific requirements are reviewed during the interview process.
Independent Clinicians are responsible for an EHR licensing fee that provides access to Vievar’s approved electronic health record platform and the tools needed to manage client care, documentation, scheduling, and billing. Options are available that may reduce or eliminate the EHR licensing fee based on participation in eligible Vievar programs.
Staff Clinicians do not pay EHR licensing or other Vievar program fees. Any position-specific requirements and benefits are reviewed as part of the hiring and onboarding process.
Yes. If you already own an established private practice, Vievar offers several pathways for working together based on your goals and the future you envision for your practice.
Options may include joining the Vievar network while maintaining your existing practice, transitioning your practice to the Vievar model, strategic partnership opportunities, or exploring a potential merger or acquisition.
Our goal is to understand what you have built and explore a structure that supports your clients, clinicians, financial goals, and long-term plans.
Independent Clinician onboarding is self-paced, giving clinicians the flexibility to complete each step on their own schedule. How quickly you are ready to begin seeing clients is largely up to you and how quickly you complete the required onboarding steps.
Staff Clinicians can expect approximately 35 hours of structured onboarding and training to prepare them for their role, including Vievar systems, processes, resources, and clinical operations.
