Julia is a trauma-informed therapist and clinical leader with extensive experience working with complex trauma. She specializes in supporting individuals who have experienced difficult, layered circumstances and are seeking to feel more grounded, connected, and in control of their lives.
In addition to her clinical work, Julia is passionate about supporting the growth and development of other clinicians. She has experience training and mentoring new therapists and clinical interns, providing guidance through challenging cases and sessions, and helping clinicians build sustainable schedules and practices that support both meaningful clinical work and professional well-being.
As a Practice Leader at Vievar Behavioral Health, Julia is committed to creating a collaborative clinical environment where clinicians feel supported, encouraged to grow, and empowered to provide exceptional care to the people and communities they serve.
Julia believes great clinical work begins with feeling supported, both for clients and clinicians. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), integrating these approaches in practical, compassionate ways tailored to each client’s individual needs.
